Meet Matt:
Matt Warren’s journey to becoming one of Skye Wealth’s passionate financial advisers began in an unlikely place — a Domino’s store. Training to be a store manager while studying a business degree, Matt imagined a future in management and even looked into the costs of franchising. But one financial planning subject changed everything. Hooked by the idea of helping people plan their futures, he switched to a commerce degree majoring in Financial Planning and Finance, landed an internship in 2018, and never looked back.
Matt quickly realised that risk advice was where he could make the biggest impact. Working with cancer council referrals early in his career, he saw firsthand how good insurance cover could transform someone’s life during a crisis. That experience shaped his approach: today, as a financial adviser at Skye Wealth, Matt focuses on making complex insurance strategies easy to understand and guiding clients through claims with empathy and precision.
Outside of work, Matt brings the same focus and discipline he honed competing in Olympic Weightlifting at a national level. He believes, “Time is your friend — tomorrow never truly arrives, so start today,” and applies that mindset to both personal and financial goals. He’s also passionate about balancing career and family, often spending downtime with his two-year-old and newborn. This personal side adds depth to the adviser you see in the office — someone who knows first-hand how important it is to protect what matters most.

Clients appreciate how he can translate technical insurance terms into clear options, making them feel confident about their choices.
